What is a Rust server wipe?
A wipe starts a fresh server world. Players look for recently wiped Rust servers so they can begin at the same time as everyone else. A server can reset its map, blueprints, or both, and every community chooses its own schedule.
Weekly, biweekly and monthly wipe schedules
Many servers declare a weekly, biweekly or monthly cadence in their name or Steam tags. RustBreak reads those declarations, records the server’s actual map-start time, and forecasts the next likely wipe from that evidence.
- Weekly: usually seven days after the confirmed map start.
- Biweekly: usually fourteen days after the confirmed map start.
- Monthly: forecast as a calendar month; named patterns such as “first Thursday” are shown when declared.
Server owners can change a schedule or perform an early wipe, so forecasts are labelled as confirmed, high-confidence, or estimate. The exact last wipe on a server page is sourced separately from the forecast.
How to find just-wiped Rust servers
Use Wipe Radar to filter the full live server snapshot by the last 3 hours, 24 hours, 3 days or a region. Cards mark whether the wipe is a confirmed Steam map start or an estimate from a server’s public wording.
Choose the right fresh wipe
A fresh world matters, but population, queue, region, team size, rate, and server style matter too. Open a result to see the current player count, queue, exact map-start time, declared schedule, and population history before you connect.
Frequently asked questions
When do Rust servers wipe?
There is no universal community-server schedule. Each server chooses weekly, biweekly, monthly, or custom timing. RustBreak shows the declaration and labels the confidence of its next-wipe forecast.
How do I find a Rust server that just wiped?
Open Wipe Radar and choose a short time window. Confirmed map starts are the strongest signal that a new map has begun.
Are next wipe times guaranteed?
No. An explicit server announcement is strongest. A weekly, biweekly, or monthly declaration gives a useful estimate, but an owner can change it at any time.
